
Project need
The hotel has 4 different entry points in total: one at the upper level, one at the lower level, and two inside the parking area itself. The need was for guest, staff, and service vehicles to pass through these 4 points with different authorization levels, all managed from one center.
Solution implemented
Some gates use two boom barriers for two-way traffic, others use a single barrier — a hardware decision driven by actual vehicle density at each point rather than the number of gates. All 4 gates connect to the center over fiber-optic infrastructure, given the on-site distances and data volume; a single PC in the hotel's security office manages the plate-recognition data from all 4 gates from one point. Our take: in facilities like hotels that run 24/7 with guest, staff, and service traffic all intertwined, choosing a high-capacity backbone like fiber to manage 4 separate gates from one center is the right engineering call.
Benefit delivered
Vehicle traffic at every entry point of the hotel can be monitored from a single screen in the security office; guest, staff, and service vehicles are managed under separate authorization levels. The system is still active and running smoothly.
