Annual operating cost
Besides installation, annual operating items should be planned: periodic maintenance (camera cleaning, barrier and panel checks), software license renewal or cloud subscription if any, and spare parts and technical service in case of faults. Single-lane vs. multi-lane
A single camera may be enough for a single-lane residential or business entrance, while a separate camera per lane is recommended for multi-lane parking lots or factory entrances — this directly affects hardware and labor cost.
