Project need
Located near the İpsala border crossing/customs exit, this paid truck (TIR) park has its entry and exit points 200 meters apart — the site spans two separate checkpoints rather than a single point.
Solution implemented
The barrier, camera, and panel hardware at both entry and exit follow the same architecture used across the site (relay card + PoE switch + SQL-based software), but a dedicated network link was set up to bridge the 200-meter gap so entry and exit data feed into a single central software. Our take: a long distance between entry and exit is a common reality at TIR parks — without a network backbone spanning that gap, matching entry and exit data (and therefore calculating duration/fees correctly) simply isn't possible.
Benefit delivered
In the heavy TIR traffic of this border region, entry-exit duration is calculated automatically by plate, with two separate points 200 meters apart managed as a single system.
